Job summary

AIS Infrastructure Group seeks a General Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish, requiring strong knowledge of civil construction practices, safety standards, and leadership of diverse teams.

Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, budgeting, plan interpretation, and ensuring quality control across projects. Travel to sites is required; prior security clearance and experience on large, complex projects are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of leadership in construction, civil focus.
• 5+ years as Superintendent for heavy civil projects.
• Experience with vertical construction is a plus.
• Ability to obtain/maintain security clearance for secured facilities.
• Knowledge of soils, concrete, compaction; large, complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise construction activities to meet budget and schedule.
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies.
• Plan and schedule activities, allocate resources, coordinate equipment.
• Review construction plans, specs, and contracts.
• Lead construction team, including subcontractors and laborers.
• Conduct regular site inspections for quality and compliance.
• Resolve issues and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Manage project documentation and change orders.
• Collaborate with project managers on schedules and budgets.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
