Job summary

Related Midwest is seeking an experienced Senior General Manager to lead day-to-day operations for a premier Chicago residence at 400 Lake Shore Drive. You will drive performance across leasing, resident services, and maintenance while partnering with regional and corporate teams.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting acumen, and knowledge of affordable housing regulations. Deliver an exceptional resident experience and maintain Related's high service standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive property management leadership experience in large-scale luxury or Class A residential environments.
• Strong budgeting, revenue, collections, and expense management knowledge.
• Experience overseeing leasing, resident relations, and on-site operations.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations (LIHTC, HUD/Section 8, 421-a etc.) is valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for day-to-day property operations (leasing, resident services, compliance, maintenance, administration).
• Lead and develop the on-site team, fostering accountability and exceptional service.
• Partner with leadership on hiring, onboarding, training, performance, and engagement.
• Oversee budgeting, financial performance, reporting, and vendor contracts and projects.
