Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a General Manager to lead store sales, service, and operations with emphasis on Professional and DIY customer segments. You will drive team performance, recruit and coach staff, and ensure inventory and operational standards are met.

The role requires 50–55 hours weekly, rotating nights and weekends, with opportunities for commission based on performance; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience managing a team of 10–20 Team Members in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related area preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Experience delivering profitability with strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships/sales and lead the team.
• Oversee hiring, development, performance mgmt., coaching and scheduling.
• Ensure execution of inventory and store operation standards.
• Coach team to deliver on Customer expectations (DIY and Professional).
• Manager on duty responsibilities and safety/compliance.
