Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks a General Manager who will inspire our team, help our Customers succeed and grow the business with integrity. The role covers store systems, automotive parts, and DIY with a schedule of 50–55 hours per week, including rotating nights and weekends.

You will lead sales, coach staff, manage inventory and profitability, and ensure safety and appearance standards. Strong communication, MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills, and P&L analysis are essential.

Qualifications

• Store systems and automotive parts knowledge required.
• Ability to lead a team, schedule, and develop staff.
• Must meet long hours and weekend requirements.
• Proficient with MS Office; PowerPoint preferred.
• Strong analytical skills for P&L and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships and sales.
• Hiring, development, performance mgmt., coaching, scheduling.
• Ensure execution of inventory and operational standards.
• Coach team to deliver on Customer expectations (DIY and Pro).
• Lead on-duty responsibilities and safety/compliance.
