Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a General Manager to drive sales, service, and professional customer growth in a fast-paced retail setting in the United States.

You will lead a team, manage inventory and store operations, and coach staff to deliver high-quality DIY and professional customer experiences. The role demands a scheduled 50–55 hours per week, with 11-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in retail or automotive parts environment is desirable.
• Strong financial acumen and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships and sales.
• Hire, develop, coach, schedule and engage store Team Members.
• Ensure inventory and operational standards are met.
• Coach team to meet customer expectations (DIY and Professional).
• Lead as on-duty manager and oversee safety and tasks.
