Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. in Calhoun, GA, is seeking a General Maintenance III for the 2nd shift to support a high-volume production environment.

You will perform preventative and emergency maintenance on boilers, HVAC systems, manufacturing machinery, and related equipment. You will coordinate with engineers, managers, and contractors, maintain logs, and ensure safety compliance on a noisy, high-traffic production floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• Experience maintaining mechanical and low-voltage electrical equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Valid driver's license; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of new equipment and assembly lines.
• Perform preventative and emergency maintenance on boilers, air compressors, HVAC, and machinery.
• Maintain work orders and maintenance logs; coordinate vendor support.
• Work with engineers or teams to upgrade processes or equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and support troubleshooting and repairs.
