The role covers handling claims from initial intake through mediation, trial, and appeal for a diverse client base, including employers, carriers, and self-insureds. Illinois admission is required, with a pay range of 120,000–180,000 USD per year in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice in the State of Illinois.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records to advocate for clients.
• Draft motions and attend hearings to represent clients.
• Prepare clients for depositions and attend depositions as needed.
• Draft reports and participate in trial/appellate activity.
• Respond to discovery requests and file related motions.
• Attend court appearances regularly for best outcomes.
• Take and defend depositions of fact and expert witnesses.
