Responsibilities

• Manages highly complex investigations including coverage, liability and damages.
• Determines whether a major claim should be settled or litigated and implements strategy.
• Coordinates discovery and litigation with staff counsel or panel attorneys.
• Negotiates highly complex settlement packages within authority.
• Coordinates third party recovery and subrogation where applicable.
• Analyzes claims activities and presents reports to management and partners.
• Provides guidance to less experienced claims staff.
