Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manages highly complex investigations of claims, including coverage issues and damages.
• Determines if major claims should be settled or litigated and sets resolution strategies.
• Manages investigators and coordinates discovery and strategy with counsel.
• Negotiates settlement packages and authorizes payments within authority.
• Coordinates third party recovery with subrogation/salvage units.
• Analyzes claims activities and presents reports to management.
• Interfaces with attorneys, account representatives, agents and insureds.
• Keeps current on state regulations and industry trends.
