Canon Recruiting is seeking an experienced General Liability Claims Adjuster to manage a caseload from inception through resolution in the Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate handles complex, litigated, and high-exposure claims with strong investigative, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities include investigating claims, evaluating coverage, negotiating settlements within authority, and reviewing medical records and investigations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience handling General Liability claims.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Experience managing high-exposure and litigated claims is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage general liability claims including bodily injury, property damage, premises, and product liability.
• Investigate claims, evaluate coverage, determine liability and damages.
• Handle complex and litigated claims with high exposure.
• Collaborate with defense counsel, insureds, claimants and others involved.
• Review medical records, legal docs, and investigative reports for resolutions.
• Establish and maintain reserves throughout the claims process.
• Negotiate settlements within authority levels.
• Monitor litigation strategies and legal expenses.
• Maintain accurate claim documentation per regulations and guidelines.
