Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and at least 5 years in general accounting.
• CPA certification required; experience with FERC compliance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting processes.
• Experience with accounting systems, databases, and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Complies with DOT/OSHA safety requirements and ensures safe work practices.
• Enters journal entries with accurate coding and supporting docs.
• Prepares and processes Forms 1099 and vendor information verification.
• Closes Expenses, Warehouse Inventory, and Tracking AFEs in the accounting system.
• Manages utility and power accounting, including invoicing and accruals.
• Records daily cash transactions and reconciles cash accounts.
• Prepares reconciliations for retirement, A/P, A/R, and other accounts; maintains audit documentation.
• Oversees MOC process for AP vendors and AR shippers.
