Job summary

Cohesity, Inc. is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to strengthen the close process and ensure accurate financial statements as the company grows. You will report to the Sr. Director of Accounting and join the Finance and Accounting team.

This hands-on role entails journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and reviewing AP entries, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve controls and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.
• CPA (preferred).
• NetSuite or other ERP system experience.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close and financial reporting, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare account reconciliations and review financial statements.
• Analyze variances and review AP entries; perform flux analysis.
• Cross-functional partnership with Corp Finance and cash application teams.
• Maintain internal controls, SOX readiness, and audit schedules.
