Job summary

Cohesity, Inc. is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to prepare a full, accurate set of financial statements and strengthen the close process as the company grows. You will report to the Sr. Director of Accounting and join the Finance and Accounting team.

This hands-on role covers journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and reviewing accounts payable entries. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and help ensure SOX compliance and audit readiness during growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 3+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close and financial reporting duties.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
• Analyze variances and review AP postings.
• Support internal controls and SOX readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for discrepancies.
• Assist in audits and audit schedules.
