Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to prepare a full set of financial statements and strengthen the close process. You will report to the Sr. Director of Accounting and join the Finance and Accounting team in a hands-on role.

You will handle journal entries, reconciliations, variances analysis, and review entries from accounts payable, contributing to accurate financials and timely reporting. A proactive, growth-minded professional will excel in this environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 3+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close and financial reporting.
• Cross-functional partnership with Corp Finance and cash application teams.
• Controls, compliance, and audit activities including SOX readiness.
• Process improvement and system enhancements; ad-hoc reporting as needed.
