Job summary

Bilfinger North America seeks a General Foreman to direct several foremen on petrochemical plant construction and maintenance, coordinating efforts for timely, safe, and quality completion while prioritizing limited manpower and equipment. You will oversee crews, train workers, and ensure compliance with safety, quality controls, and documentation.

Requires 8 years of relevant experience, ability to write reports in proper English, and a valid TWIC card.

Qualifications

• Must be able to write reports and letters with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar.
• Must be able to speak English clearly to an audience.
• 7 to 10 years of job training/experience required.
• Must have a TWIC card.
• Must be able to pass required training and hair follicle.
• This site DOES NOT OFFER per diem.

Responsibilities

• Directs the activities of multiple foremen and workers, knowing each crew member’s limitations, and provides guidance to help them perform safely and efficiently.
• Plans and executes portions of the job as directed.
• May supervise Steam-Fitter Supervisors and Pipe-Fitter Supervisors as needed.
• Supervisor is responsible for quality control and all required documentation.
