Job summary

The Air Force Civilian Service is seeking a General Engineer (NH-0801-03) to work with the AFLCMC at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The role focuses on training simulator architecture, cloud computing, software engineering, and cybersecurity within a MOSA framework. Leadership of complex IT projects in a large IT environment is essential.

U.S. Citizenship is required. A BS in engineering from an ABET-accredited program is required; Computer Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• BS engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program. Computer Engineering degree preferred but not required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
• This position requires travel.
• Key technologies include training simulator architecture, cloud computing, software engineering, MBSE, RMF, and Distributed Mission Operations.
• DAWIA Engineering/Technical Management Practitioner Certification expected within 5 years of hire.
• Cybersecurity certification per DoDM 8140.03; CompTIA Security+ with Continuing Learning acceptable within 12 months of hire.
