Job summary

McBride Consulting in Oklahoma is seeking a General/Interdisciplinary Engineer to support AFLCMC/HBS/WIW at Tinker AFB in a full-time hybrid role. You will help design, operate, and sustain complex systems across the acquisition life cycle.

The ideal candidate has a DoD background, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and the ability to prepare technical documentation, conduct architecture analyses, and participate in reviews such as CDR, MRA, and TIM.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
• Clearance: Active Secret clearance
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 3 years of DoD experience or 7 years related experience
• Technical Skills: Ability to develop/manage system documentation and analyses

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support in design, operation, and sustainment across the acquisition life cycle.
• Develop and prepare engineering documentation (AoA, SEP) and reports.
• Translate DoD user requirements into system requirements for design, development, testing, and evaluation.
• Support test planning, readiness reviews, and evaluations of systems.
• Perform system cost, risk, and performance analyses and trade studies.
• Participate in reviews (CDR, MRA, TIM) and associated artifacts.
