Job summary

InMarket is seeking a Deputy General Counsel to serve as a true second-in-command for the legal function. The role combines hands-on contract negotiations, privacy and data-protection guidance, and broad leadership across employment, governance, and AI initiatives.

You will partner with Sales, Product, HR, and Finance to manage risk and enable strategic business growth. You will mentor attorneys, help shape legal strategy, and scale the legal team as InMarket expands, while maintaining

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school and active bar in residence.
• Significant in-house experience as a generalist across commercial contracts, privacy, employment, and corporate law.
• Interest in evolving ad tech, data privacy, and AI governance.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements with customers, partners, and suppliers.
• Advise on privacy, data compliance, AI governance, and regulatory considerations.
• Lead and mentor attorneys, partner with senior executives, and build scalable legal processes.
• Provide day-to-day HR and employment guidance and support corporate governance activities.
