VP Racing Fuels, Inc. is seeking a General Counsel to serve as the chief legal advisor and strategic business partner to the executive team.

You will lead acquisitions and integration, manage regulatory matters, and oversee outside counsel for complex transactions and disputes. The role requires a JD with bar admission, 10+ years of experience, and strong skills in negotiation, governance, and cross-border operations.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one US state.
• At least 10 years of progressive legal experience, including substantial in-house roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic investments from diligence through closing.
• Advise executive leadership and translate business objectives into legal strategies.
• Guide regulatory/compliance across fuels, chemicals, and distribution.
• Structure cross-border transactions and manage international supply, licensing, and partnerships.
• Draft, review, and negotiate customer, supplier, and distribution agreements.
• Oversee governance, risk, and corporate policies; manage outside counsel and budgets.
• Direct litigation, investigations, and incident response when needed.
• Protect IP, licenses, and trade secrets; advise on privacy and cybersecurity.
• Develop playbooks, templates, and legal tech to improve efficiency.
