Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and PA bar admission or eligible to practice in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of ten years of relevant legal experience, including utilities or regulated industries.
• Experience advising senior executives on strategic and operational legal issues.
• Experience managing outside counsel and litigation matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and strategic guidance to leadership on gas operations, regulatory, contractual, and compliance matters.
• Serve as lead legal advisor for gas distribution, transmission, storage, construction, engineering, and real estate activities.
• Manage litigation coordination, outside counsel, and case strategy.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including construction, consulting, vendor, and other commercial agreements.
• Advise on contract interpretation, compliance obligations, and risk mitigation.
• Provide real estate support including rights-of-way and easements.
• Interface with PA DEP, PUC, FERC, PHMSA, and other regulatory authorities; monitor regulatory developments.
• Collaborate with HR and business leadership on employment-related legal matters and ethics issues.
