Qualifications

• JD from an accredited U.S. law school and active NJ bar.
• 5+ years of progressive legal experience with litigation management.
• Experience advising executives and managing outside counsel.
• Strong analytical and writing skills with risk-balanced counsel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary internal legal resource for litigation, disputes, investigations, and proceedings.
• Develop litigation and dispute-resolution strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage matters from initial demand through discovery, settlement, and trial prep.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and other legal filings.
• Oversee discovery strategy and document preservation.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to investigate claims and prepare witnesses.
• Support mediations, settlements, and hearings.
• Advise leadership on strategy, settlement, and risk.
• Manage outside counsel, budgets, and legal spend.
