Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic General Accounting Supervisor at our Headquarters in Warren, OH. This on-site, dayshift role leads the accounting team and guides month-end and year-end closes, ensuring accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting with 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, and a collaborative leadership style. ERP experience with Dynamics GP or NetSuite is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• Minimum 10 years in accounting with advancement.
• Experience in an organization with annual sales over $20 million.
• Collaborative, accessible leadership with mentoring proven.
• Initiator, innovator and influencer who drives change and improves processes.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and planning skills.
• Experience with Dynamics GP or NetSuite is a plus.
• ERP transition/implementation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and reports.
• Drive month and year-end closes.
• Develop, implement and maintain policies, controls and procedures.
• Ensure financial alignment with business goals.
• Work with finance & operations to meet reporting and internal-control requirements.
