Job summary

UN Women is seeking an experienced evaluator to contribute to high-impact evaluation work across development and humanitarian contexts in the United States. The role involves designing inception reports, conducting interviews and data analysis, drafting evaluation reports with case studies, and providing strategic recommendations for UN Women's coordination architecture.

The candidate will bring a master's degree in evaluation or related field, at least 10 years of progressive evaluation

Qualifications

• Master's degree in evaluation, social science, international relations or development.
• 10+ years of progressive evaluation experience in normative, development or humanitarian contexts.
• Experience leading or contributing to complex corporate or system-wide evaluations.
• Gender-responsive evaluation and gender equality analysis experience.
• Experience with UN system coordination mechanisms and accountability frameworks.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to inception report design, methodology, evaluation matrix and data collection tools.
• Participate in interviews, focus groups and data analysis with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to draft and final evaluation reports, including up to four case studies.
• Provide strategic, actionable recommendations on UN Women's coordination architecture.
