Job summary

UN Women seeks an Independent Evaluation Consultant to lead and contribute to the design, execution and reporting of an Evaluation of UN Women’s Coordination Mandate. You will work with the IES team to test Theory of Change pathways, ensuring rigorous, evidence-based outputs across global, regional and country levels.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in evaluation, social science, international relations, international development or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in evaluation.
• Experience in gender equality analysis and UN system coordination issues.
• Fluency in English (required).

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to evaluation design, data collection and reporting.
• Coordinate with IES team and UN Women stakeholders at global, regional and country levels.
• Ensure outputs meet UNEG standards and GERAAS quality criteria.
• Apply theory-based, mixed-methods approaches and provide actionable findings.
