Scale AI is seeking a senior software engineer to design and maintain scalable systems for a GenAI data platform. You will work across front-end, back-end, and infrastructure layers with a focus on delivering high-availability data flows.

You will collaborate with ML teams and Product, implement features using React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Temporal, and help scale our data operations to support large-scale AI datasets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in high-growth environments.
• Proven track record shipping production systems at scale.
• Strong reliability and performance focus for critical infrastructure.
• Deep skills in front-end or backend or data infra areas.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, MongoDB, Elasticsearch and Temporal.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable systems across the full stack.
• Implement high-impact features using TypeScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Temporal.
• Collaborate with internal operators to identify bottlenecks and ship pragmatic solutions.
• Own core systems critical to our contributor platform and GenAI data pipeline.
• Architect and scale infrastructure to handle millions of tasks weekly with low latency.
• Partner with ML teams and Product to ensure data quality and operational excellence.
• Contribute to engineering culture through mentorship, code reviews, and process improvements.
