Scale AI is hiring for a senior software engineer to design, build, and scale full‑stack systems powering our GenAI data engine. You will work across front-end, back-end, and infrastructure, using React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python and data stores like MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Temporal.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Proven track record shipping production systems at scale
• Experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, MongoDB, Elasticsearch and Temporal
• Strong ability to translate ambiguous problems into technical solutions
• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-ownership environments

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable systems across the full stack
• Implement features using React, TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Elasticsearch and Temporal
• Collaborate with operators to identify bottlenecks and ship fast solutions
• Own core systems for the contributor platform impacting data pipeline and outcomes
• Architect and scale infrastructure for millions of tasks per week
• Partner with ML teams, Forward Deployed Engineers, and Product
• Mentor teammates and promote best practices through code reviews
