Scale AI, Inc. in San Francisco or New York City is seeking a senior software engineer to design and scale core systems for the GenAI data pipeline and contributor platform.

You will ship features across front-end, back-end, and infra, driving reliability and high availability in a fast-paced environment. You should have 5+ years of experience, a track record of shipping production systems, and strong skills in React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Temporal.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven track record of shipping production systems at scale.
• Drive reliability and performance across critical infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable systems across the full stack.
• Implement features using TypeScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Temporal.
• Collaborate with internal operators to identify bottlenecks and ship solutions.
• Own core systems for the contributor platform and data pipeline impact.
• Architect and scale infrastructure for millions of tasks per week.
• Partner with ML teams, Forward Deployed Engineers, and Product for data quality.
