Amazon is seeking an Applied Scientist III for the Foundation AI Assets (FAI) team in the USA (Massachusetts, Boston) to advance GenAI with large language models. Qualifications

• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.
• 5+ years of building machine learning models for business applications.
• PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement novel ML/DL models from research to production.
• Drive the scientific agenda and align with technical leadership.
• Evaluate and improve model performance with rigorous experiments.
