Amazon Foundational AI (FAI) seeks an Applied Scientist with a strong deep learning background to build industry-leading GenAI technology using LLMs. You will develop RL Gym environments, assess their impact on frontier models, and advance state-of-the-art methods in applied research.

• 3+ years of building machine learning models for business applications.
• PhD, or Master’s degree plus 6+ years of applied research experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
