Job summary
GEICO is seeking a Distinguished Engineer (AI Platforms and Applications) to join our AI organization in Seattle. You will shape GEICO’s Generative AI and agentic workflows, defining durable platform architecture and leading multi-team initiatives to deliver scalable GenAI applications.
You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product and executives, and ensure production-ready systems across claims, service, and sales.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience architecting GenAI platforms and large-scale applications.
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities
- Define, own, and evolve architecture for GEICO’s Generative AI platforms and agentic workflows.
- Serve as final technical authority on architectural decisions impacting multiple products and teams.
- Design durable platform components for GenAI workflows including knowledge, search, prompts, and orchestration.
- Lead cross‑team alignment, strategy, and governance for GenAI applications.
