Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Senior Software Developer to drive the end-to-end development of GenAI/ML software across Fortinet's GenAI platform, including FortiGPT. You will contribute to design, implementation, debugging, and testing, leveraging cutting-edge GenAI/LLM tech to shape Fortinet products.

The role involves building scalable, high-performance systems, collaborating across teams, and delivering new features with quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with Python on Linux and familiarity with Java/C++ is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure and containerized environments (Docker preferred).
• Strong understanding of LLM/GenAI development and web development fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Fortinet GenAI/ML software systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing products.
• Perform system integrations across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Ensure code quality with version control and coding standards.
• Develop new features promptly and with high quality per specs.
• Document maintenance procedures and support existing systems.
