Job summary

Fortinet invites an experienced AI Security Engineer to join our Corporate Information Security team in protecting AI-driven applications across Fortinet's products and services. Qualifications

• 7+ years in information security, product security, AI/ML security or related fields.
• Deep knowledge of LLM-based architectures, frameworks and concepts (training, vector DBs, memory, tools, MCP, Agentic AI, guardrails).
• Experience with adversarial ML attacks and defenses (prompt injection, data poisoning, model extraction).
• Strong knowledge of OAuth and JWT implementations; OWASP risks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices; security architecture patterns.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an AI security subject matter expert guiding internal teams.
• Collaborate with development teams; conduct code reviews and AI red-teaming assessments.
• Perform threat modeling for AI products (chatbots, MCPs, autonomous agents).
• Integrate security and AI-specific checks into CI/CD workflows to automate testing.
• Develop vulnerability mitigation strategies and security controls for Fortinet AI apps.
• Develop and maintain AI guardrails, input/output filters and policy enforcement layers for LLMs.
• Research new AI attack vectors affecting Fortinet apps and infrastructure.
• Be part of a global team; coach peers in AI/ML security concepts.
