Job summary

Capco is seeking a Senior GenAI Engineer in Charlotte, NC to lead development of AI-driven solutions across the full lifecycle—from experimentation to production. You will design and build GenAI applications, scale backend services, and deploy in cloud environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong Python skills, hands-on LLM experience, and a willingness to work in the office 3 days per week. Prior fintech domain exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field.
• ~5+ years of software engineering experience with exposure to AI/ML or data-driven applications.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs or generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Design and build applications using foundation models and GenAI techniques.
• Develop autonomous or semi-autonomous agent frameworks.
• Contribute to full-stack AI solutions, including backend services and APIs.
• Deploy and scale AI/ML solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
