Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Senior GenAI / AI Automation Engineer (Contract) to support enterprise Generative AI initiatives for Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking in Charlotte, NC. You will design, build, and operate AI-powered platforms that replace manual workflows through agent orchestration, document processing, and API integration.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in GenAI/AI automation, strong Python with LangGraph and LangChain, and experience with RAG, IDP, OCR,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on GenAI, ML, AI agents, or Intelligent Automation exp.
• Proficient in Python with LangGraph/LangChain and agent-based architectures.
• Experience building RAG architectures and LLM-powered apps.
• Expertise in Document AI/IDP including OCR, extraction, PDF parsing, semantic matching.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, cloud-native architectures, and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop LLM-powered applications, AI agents, and automation solutions.
• Build agent orchestration workflows using LangGraph, LangChain, Python.
• Develop and optimize RAG architectures for enterprise use.
• Implement Document AI and IDP including OCR, parsing, extraction, validation, and classification.
• Design scalable cloud-native AI solutions in containerized environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and improve operations.
