Job summary

Tech Junction Ltd in Wayne, Indiana, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist specializing in GenAI for the utility/energy sector. You will own end-to-end AI solution design, LLM orchestration, and deployment of scalable RAG pipelines for enterprise datasets.

You will lead model development, feature engineering, and evaluation, collaborating with data engineers and client stakeholders. Onsite work is mandatory with a contract/full-time arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical field.
• 10+ years of data science, analytics and ML engineering.
• Hands-on RAG pipelines and GenAI experience.
• AI model development, NLP and transformer architectures.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; LangChain and LlamaIndex experience.
• Experience in utility, energy or oil & gas domains.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional communication skills.
• Onsite availability in Wayne, Indiana with work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade RAG pipelines and LLM apps.
• Lead AI model development and deep learning architectures.
• Write optimized Python and SQL for data manipulation and model training.
• Apply domain expertise to build context-aware predictive models.
• Integrate vector databases and semantic search into workflows.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and stakeholders.
• Monitor model performance, tune hyperparameters, mitigate hallucinations.
• Maintain technical documentation and architecture specs.
