Job summary

1898 & Co. is a Burns & McDonnell subsidiary delivering AI-enabled analytics for electric utilities and critical infrastructure clients.

We seek a Senior Consultant to envision, shape, and deliver AI capabilities, engage executives, and lead solution design discussions. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business experts to craft practical, scalable AI/analytics for grid ops and asset management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, computer science, information systems, statistics, engineering, math, or related field and 7+ years of related experience.
• Experience with analytics processing engines and cloud analytics tools is preferred.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI/Tableau and data visualization.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into AI/Analytics opportunities and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into AI and analytics opportunities and define solution roadmaps.
• Lead client workshops and presentations to communicate concepts and build consensus.
• Design AI-enabled solutions for utility operations and grid-related challenges.
• Advise on responsible AI practices including data privacy, governance, and security.
• Document findings and develop visuals and solution materials for stakeholders.
