Job summary

Allstate is seeking a Lead AI Cloud Platform Engineer to own the cloud platforms for AI solutions. You will be a full-stack engineer working across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, driving GenAI initiatives and platform operations.

You will mentor teammates, advance Terraform-based automation, and collaborate with product teams to deliver scalable, secure cloud solutions that enable AI at scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles.
• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering and AI open-source ecosystem.
• Experience with Azure AI services and AWS Bedrock.
• Experience with Vertex AI is preferred.
• Knowledge of consuming large language model APIs.
• Terraform development experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth GenAI expertise on Azure and AWS to support client relationships.
• Recommend integration strategies, architectures, and infrastructure for AI solutions.
• Act as trusted advisor on migration paths and cloud strategy with AI accelerators.
• Lead engineering practices and drive automation with Terraform.
• Maintain and enhance Terraform codebase and coach junior team members.
• Present ideas and solutions to stakeholders.
