Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field with multi-year AI/ML experience
• 6+ years of experience programming with Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java
• Experience leading development of AI systems including production-ready pipelines and cloud deployments
• Experience with state-of-the-art AI tech, model optimization, and guardrails

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products and change how associates work and how customers interact with Capital One
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training and inference
• Leverage Open Source and SaaS AI technologies (e.g., HuggingFace, PyTorch)
• Lead design reviews and governance on AI systems; mentor engineers and lift technical maturity
