Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Google DevSecOps Sr. Principal in the Washington DC metro area.

The role focuses on building and leading DevSecOps portfolios, leveraging GCP/GKE, and partnering with Google and other partners to deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions. You will own strategic initiatives, coordinate with division growth teams, and drive solution strategies across customers and partners, with a strong emphasis on government mission outcomes and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher required.
10+ years of related experience.
Experience building Software Engineering, CD/DevOps practices: Pipelines, Data Integrations, and IaC for CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with GitLab, Nexus, Vagrant, Vault, Packer and Ansible, Security Scanning Tools and Static Code Quality Tools.
Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including GKE, Cloud Build & Deploy, Cloud Run, App Engine, Anthos, Cloud IAM, IAP.
Deep understanding of container orchestration platforms: Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift.
Google Associate level Certification strongly suggested.
Proven track record with US Public Sector or Enterprise customers.
Ability to engage CIOs/CTOs/program executives and influence action.

Responsibilities

Generate, pursue, and scope Google DevSecOps business development leads with senior leadership.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver joint partner offerings and accelerate cloud adoption.
Develop and drive partner solution strategies including co-selling, co-marketing, and co-solutioning.
Engage with customers and partners regarding opportunities and digital accelerators.
Support enterprise captures and proposal content where partner relations are key.
Lead creation of consultative selling collateral for DevSecOps solutions.
Architect, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Google Cloud dev services.
Implement secure, scalable infrastructure on GCP and on-premises using IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Collaborate across teams to deliver secure, compliant solutions and efficient deployments.
Deploy, manage, and secure GKE clusters with focus on reliability and compliance.
Apply DevSecOps best practices and adhere to FedRAMP, NIST, CMMC, FISMA, and related frameworks.
Federal ATO DevSecOps experience is a bonus.
