Catapult Federal Services in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Google Cloud Architect to lead design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale GCP solutions. The role requires deep cloud expertise, DevSecOps, automation, and strong collaboration with stakeholders and engineering teams.

You will drive secure, scalable cloud and hybrid environments, oversee cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and platform engineering initiatives, and provide technical leadership

Qualificações

• Active Secret clearance required or equivalent.
• 5+ years designing and implementing enterprise solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience in cloud architecture, platform engineering, or enterprise technology delivery.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and IaC practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement enterprise Google Cloud architectures that are secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective.
• Partner with stakeholders to evaluate requirements and develop cloud adoption strategies.
• Architect and support cloud-native and hybrid-cloud solutions, including multi-cloud environments.
• Lead cloud migration, infrastructure deployment, networking, security, and integration efforts.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform and related automation tools.
• Build and support automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Create and maintain automation scripts using Python and/or Bash to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure solutions meet security, performance, reliability, scalability, and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud and infrastructure issues and coordinate resolution across technical teams.
• Document architecture decisions, technical designs, implementation plans, risks, and recommendations.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance on cloud architecture, DevSecOps practices, and automation strategies.
• Present technical concepts and architectural recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate within Agile development environments utilizing methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
