Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud Engineer to lead large-scale migrations to GCP for federal clients. Build secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and ensure compliance with federal security requirements.

You will design GCP foundations (BigQuery, Secret Manager, Vertex AI, VPCs, Cloud Storage, IAM), execute migrations, and optimize costs while applying Zero Trust principles.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 2 years focused hands-on with Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience executing cloud migrations (lift-and-shift, re-platforming, or refactoring).
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage GCP foundational components, including BigQuery, Secret Manager, Vertex AI, VPCs, Cloud Storage, and IAM.
• Execute large scale data migrations to GCP using industry best practices and migration tools (e.g., Migrate for Compute Engine).
• Implement secure cloud architectures that comply with federal cloud computing security requirements and Zero Trust principles.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, troubleshoot migration issues, and optimize costs.
