Job summary

Accenture Federal Services in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on multi-cloud expertise focused on Google Cloud Platform. You will architect scalable patterns, build automated deployment frameworks, and support enterprise AI workloads across security domains using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience.
• Strong delivery experience on GCP, plus working knowledge of AWS GovCloud.
• Expertise deploying Docker-based custom software at scale.
• Strong Terraform engineering capability.
• Have a CI/CD-first mindset; comfortable designing DevOps patterns end-to-end.
• Comfort working in secure, regulated, and cross-domain environments.
• Active Top Secret clearance required with CI poly.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Multi-Cloud Infrastructure (GCP Focused) Provision and configure cloud resources with emphasis on GCP (Cloud Run, Vertex AI, Artifact Registry, Secret Manager, IAM).
• Design scalable patterns for containerized workloads and expand to GKE as needed.
• Deploy and manage Docker-based applications across GCP and AWS GovCloud.
• Support AI workload hosting using Vertex AI (GCP) and Bedrock (AWS) in secure, multi-domain environments.
• Infrastructure as Code & DevOps Automation using Terraform and modular patterns.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines for reproducible deployments across all security fabrics.
• Implement GitOps and DevOps best practices; avoid console-based configuration.
• Secure, Classified, and Cross-Domain Cloud Operations across Unclassified and Classified environments.
