Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud Engineer to drive large‑scale workload migrations to GCP for federal clients. You will design, build, and deploy secure, scalable cloud infrastructure to support mission‑critical workloads.

You will implement foundational GCP components, migrate data using best practices, and ensure architectures meet federal security standards while controlling costs and performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of cloud engineering experience, with hands‑on Google Cloud experience.
• Proven experience migrating workloads to cloud (lift‑and‑shift, re‑platforming, refactoring).
• Strong IaC (Terraform preferred) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/GKE).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage GCP foundational components (BigQuery, Secret Manager, Vertex AI, VPCs, Cloud Storage, Cloud IAM).
• Execute large‑scale data migrations to GCP using industry best practices and migration tools (e.g., Migrate for Compute Engine).
• Implement secure cloud architectures compliant with federal cloud security requirements and Zero Trust.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot migration issues, and optimize costs.
