Job summary

KPMG is seeking a Sr. Associate, Cloud - GCP in its Advisory practice in Boston. The role focuses on designing and deploying scalable, secure GCP infrastructures, integrating on-premises systems with cloud, and enabling data analytics through BigQuery and related services.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of recent GCP or equivalent cloud systems development experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Experience in designing cloud architectures and implementing production infrastructures using GCP, IaC, and cloud-native containers (Kubernetes/OpenShift/Docker).
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Chef and Puppet; experience with Git/SVN and terminal environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of GCP infrastructure using Terraform for modular, reusable environments.
• Architect GCP networking with NCC hub-and-spoke models and secure hybrid integrations.
• Design and manage data platforms on GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub) for analytics.
• Support Generative AI initiatives using Vertex AI for model development, training, and deployment.
• Implement and maintain IAM/RBAC and security controls per regulatory standards.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for GCP resources (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Google Cloud Build).
• Establish monitoring, logging, and cost-optimization tooling for platform reliability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
