Qualifications

• 3+ years of GCP or equivalent cloud systems experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience designing cloud architectures, implementing production infrastructures, and working with cloud-native container technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting, Unix/Linux environments, source code management, and strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design and implementation of GCP infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring modularity and maintainability.
• Developing expertise in GCP networking, including network standards and hybrid cloud integrations.
• Architecting secure, reliable hybrid cloud environments connecting on-premises systems with GCP.
• Building scalable data platforms utilizing services like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub for advanced analytics.
• Supporting Generative AI initiatives by leveraging GCP AI/ML tools, especially Vertex AI.
• Implementing security controls, compliance policies, and automating resource management with CI/CD pipelines.
• Providing technical mentorship to team members to foster continuous learning and operational excellence.
