Job summary

KPMG LLP in the United States seeks a Sr. Associate, Cloud - GCP to lead the design and implementation of Google Cloud Platform infrastructure with emphasis on modular, maintainable solutions.

You will drive network design, secure hybrid cloud integrations, and scalable data platforms using BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub. You will enable Generative AI initiatives via Vertex AI and implement robust security controls, IAM/RBAC, and cost-optimized operations across the GCP environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of recent Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or equivalent cloud systems development experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• Experience in designing cloud architectures and implementing production infrastructures and applications in GCP using infrastructure as code, with data and analytics platforms; familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenShift or Docker is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of GCP infrastructure using Terraform for modular, reusable, long-term maintenance.
• Demonstrate expertise in GCP networking, including NCC hub-and-spoke architectures.
• Architect and manage secure, hybrid cloud integrations between on-premises environments and GCP.
• Design, build, and support scalable data platforms on GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub) for analytics.
• Support Generative AI initiatives using Vertex AI for model development, training, and deployment.
• Implement and maintain security controls and IAM/RBAC across GCP.
