Deloitte is seeking a Senior GCP Architect to lead the architecture and delivery of secure, scalable Google Cloud solutions for Public Sector clients. This remote role within the continental United States requires high-level technical leadership, modernization, and close collaboration with client teams.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive cloud experience, strong Python/C++ skills, and the ability to guide complex technical decisions across delivery teams.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or ability to obtain security clearance (TS/SCI).
• 12+ years in cloud infrastructure, cloud operations, software development, or tech consulting.
• 8+ years in enterprise or government cloud architecture and hands-on software engineering in Python or C++.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and delivery of secure, scalable Google Cloud solutions; set architecture standards and roadmaps.
• Advise customers, engineers, and executives on architecture tradeoffs and strategies.
• Provide hands-on engineering leadership through coding, prototyping, and technical validation.
• Drive cloud modernization, migrations, and transformation efforts; manage risks and dependencies.
• Mentor junior architects and engineers; review technical deliverables.
