Job summary

Cotiviti is seeking a Lead Cloud Security Architect (GCP) for US-Remote. You will guide security design decisions, model threats, and lead secure infrastructure across cloud platforms. You’ll work with engineering and leadership to ensure compliance, secure configurations, and timely delivery.

The role focuses on Google Cloud Platform security, coordinating with teams to implement controls, validate settings, and communicate risks to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional security architecture or cloud infrastructure engineering experience.
• Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform security services and best practices.
• Ability to explain trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and cloud security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design security architecture for cloud workloads on Google Cloud Platform.
• Create security design documents and decision logs for critical cloud security decisions.
• Partner with engineering and operations teams to implement cloud security services and controls.
• Validate configurations against security policies and best practices.
• Ensure alignment with compliance requirements and communicate risks clearly.
• Conduct threat modeling and document mitigations for high-risk workloads.
• Review architectures and provide security guidance throughout development lifecycle.
