LaBella Associates seeks a Senior Gas Project Engineer to lead consulting for gas utility clients in the North East, applying expertise in pipeline projects, regulator stations, and facility design.

The role requires fieldwork, AutoCAD basemaps and construction drawings, cost estimation, and coordination with stakeholders; 10+ years of natural gas experience and a PE license preferred. Salary range is $125,000–$160,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineering license and/or GTI Competent Engineer Certification preferred.
• 10+ years of related experience in Natural Gas Operator or consultant (Transmission and Distribution preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with all project stakeholders and act in the interest of our clients to support their project goals.
• Production of quality basemap and construction drawings for client, municipal, and regulatory agency review using AutoCAD.
• Development of energization and de-energization procedures.
• Contractor and construction cost estimation.
• Data entry into SAP and/or Maximo Work Management System to support your project work in our clients’ WMS’s.
• Create as-built records from inspector’s field notes.
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff. Act as a role model.
• Assist with marketing, business development, and internal SOP development.

Education

Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field

Professional Engineering license and/or GTI Competent Engineer Certification (preferred)
