Job summary

Enbridge Gas Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho is seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer to join the Engineering Technical Services team. The role focuses on pipeline design, HDD/trenchless work, geotechnical evaluations, and high-level support for construction and operations across Utah, Wyoming and Idaho.

We value strong analytical skills, a PE license, and the ability to lead design reviews, mentor technical staff, and coordinate with multiple functions to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (ABET-accredited)
• 6+ years of engineering design and frontline operations support
• Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain one
• Advanced knowledge of pipeline engineering standards (PHMSA/ASME/API)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering activities including standards development and design of pipelines and stations.
• Provide senior technical expertise to operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Resolve complex technical issues and recommend deviations when needed.
• Coordinate engineering requirements across operations, construction, and asset management.
• Drive standards and specification management programs across the business.
• Support high-impact capital and maintenance projects with risk assessments and asset integrity reviews.
